Stoke, large 6-bed period property

The property belonged at one stage to the Pankhurst family, of suffragette fame, but even that didn't help the current owners when they struggled for 18 months to sell their home.  The bedrooms in particular were too bold, bright and modern for this style of house, so we toned everything down, used softer, muted colours, and spent just £1,300 on new soft furnishings and accessories.
